Nephrite Crystals

The name Nephrite is derived from the Greek word "nephros," which refers to the belief that this stone has the ability to help with kidney disorders. It's often called Jade or Jadeitite, but in fact, Nephrite is a form of actinolite. Actinolite is a member of the amphibole group of minerals. Minor traces of diopside, magnetite, graphite, pyrite, prehnite, etc. have been found in Nephrite stones.
